While working for the BMW Group I was lucky to be part of a talented team of designers across Portugal, Germany, USA and China working for the BMW and MINI mobile app.

There I helped creating experiences focused on vehicle remote control functions and electric range visualization that could connect well to the in-car experiences. While doing that I also had the role of being one of the main responsible for maintaining and levelling-up the BMW and MINI Design Systems.

I reviewed and restructured all the Design System's elements, from foundational ones like colors, icons and typography, to the component and pattern libraries, ensuring a great level of parity and consistency for both brands, reducing the time needed for maintenance and the complexity of usage for all team members. I also helped defining the MINI dark mode colors and managed both light and dark modes for the two brands.
